Untuk terhubung dengan internet TelkomselFlash saya menggunakan USB modem 3G Huawei E220 yang saya beli di Yogyakarta waktu itu harga modem Huawei E220 Rp.1200.000,- kalau sekarang sudah turun jadi Rp.1000.000,-

Akses Internet Murah Menggunakan Kartu CDMA StarOne

Koneksi Internet menggunakan kartu handphone CDMA StarOne sudah saya gunakan sejak bulan Mei 2008 lalu sampai sekarang.

Akses internet CDMA lain yang sudah saya coba adalah Wifone dan Fren. Pengalaman menggunakan Wifone (produk lain Esia) kadang putus dan tarif cukup mahal Rp.125,- per menit, kadang koneksi gagal sudah terpotong pulsanya. Sedangkan menggunakan CDMA Fren cukup lancar tapi tarifnya mencekik leher Volume Based Rp.6,- per Kb, Duration Based Rp.160,- permenit.

Dari beberapa layanan internet CDMA yang ada akhirnya saya memilih StarOne punya Indosat karena dari segi tarif dan kualitas koneksi paling bagus di tempat saya di Bantul Yogyakarta. Mungkin di daerah lain bisa jadi kasusnya beda dengan tempat saya, seperti komplain tentang Starone oleh salah satu komentator blog saya di postingan tentang internet murah CDMA Ceria.

Koneksi Internet Yang Saya Pakai Dari Waktu ke Waktu

Berikut ini akses internet yang saya pakai dari waktu ke waktu

Dimulai tahun 2001 saat masih kuliah di Jogja

• Akses internet dilakukan dari warnet ke warnet, yang sering saya kunjungi warnet Randomnet di daerah Pogung dekat kosnya Wawan, M-Web di perpustakaan UGM(sekarang sudah tutup kayaknya), warnet Dhielovi di Karanggayam, warnet DanMas di dekat hotel Ishiro, G-Net di atas perpustakaan UGM. Waktu itu hampir setiap hari saya ngenet ke warnet, dan seringnya nyari paket internet murah di tengah malam Rp.1000,- per jam

Tahun 2003 saya mulai bekerja di Tangerang

• Pertama saya masih mengakses internet di warnet, yang sering saya kunjungi warnet di perempatan pojok perempatan kantor daerah perum Tangerang
• Di pabrik tempat saya bekerja saya juga meng-akses internet gratis yang cukup lambat di saat istirahat dan di saat bekerja (sembunyi-sembunyi tentunya)
• Setelah tahun 2005 mengenal forex , saya memiliki keinginan mengakses internet dari rumah, setelah mencari-cari isp di Tangerang yang ada paket personal dengan tarif internet murah tidak ketemu maka saya putuskan membeli wifone , telepon esia rumah yang bisa untuk akses internet, ternyata tarifnya per menit mahal dan sering disconnect.
